Part I of volume III includes three essays on the Most Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Virgins, written by Bishop Earl Boyea, Dr. Shalina Stilley, and Dr. Magalis Aguilera. The essays delve into the life of our Blessed Mother as the first consecrated virgin and thus the model par excellence for the consecrated virgins of today.

Part II includes 18 essays on virgin saints written by consecrated virgins. The essays explore the lives of virgin saints who lived in saeculo, that is, in the ordinary circumstances of the past twenty centuries. The authors reflect on the lives of these saints in reference to living as consecrated virgins in the twenty-first century. The essays are complemented by a diverse and beautiful selection of artwork.

Mary’s Virgin Daughters, Brides of Christ: Yesterday, Today, and for Eternity has received the requisite imprimatur from the Bishop of Lansing, where the book will be printed. This is a unique volume because the chosen virgin saints are those who were not part of other religious communities, but are those who lived as the consecrated virgins of apostolic times, and of today—virgins for our Lord Jesus, living in saeculo, that is, in the world, or in the ordinary circumstances of the century.
